Brachy-Myotherapy (BMT) is a manual therapy created by Dr. Jan Polak, and taught since 1989.

It is applied by about 2,000 physicians and physiotherapists in Europe (mainly in France, Belgium and Switzerland). Courses will be available in the United States in 2011.

Its simplicity makes it easy to learn, and its results have been proven by various statistical studies.

It is known, since during the 14th century the English philosopher William Ockham stated the principle (never refuted) that if for a single problem there are several correct solutions, it is always the simplest that is most effective.
Aristotle had stated this principle in another way : an action is more effective as it requires few resources for its implementation.

And BMT seems to be the simplest of manual therapies : simple to learn, easy to perform, self-sufficient, totally harmless, irreplaceable for many indications (including almost all joint and myofascial pains, migraines and headaches, etc.), as has been proven by numerous studies.
